I've recently updated my XPS 8500 to A12: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=GVGPD

This allowed me to access the BIOS without any issues, but I can't seem to find out how to change the DRAM frequency. All I can see is some information pertaining to it, but it's blacked out. Here's an imgur album of all the screens that I thought were important of the BIOS options: http://imgur.com/a/Pj8BX
These include all of the different tabs (save for exit) and the sub-categories of the advanced tab (save for the usb configuration)
The RAM I'm currently using which is running at 1333: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231568

Any idea what to do here?

Solution
A common complaint with that model. 1333MHz is the SPD (Serial Presence Detect) setting of most 1600MHz memory.

There are no XMP (eXtreme Memory Profiles) settings or manual memory clock settings on that model. The original memory is reported to run at 1600MHz.

Memory runs at SPD (Serial Presence Detect) settings unless you set it with XMP (eXtreme Memory Profiles) settings or manually set the memory clock.

What does this mean for me? Is it already running at 1600MHz while showing 1333MHz, or is it running at 1333MHz with no solution? Thanks for your help--sorry for not understanding
