Can I use a CPU fan connector on a SYS fan header?

I wanna buy the be quiet! DARK ROCK TF but it uses two fans.
But my future Gigabyte motherboard only had one CPU fan header.

Can I use the second fan connector on a system fan header?

Yes. It might be harder to control the fan based on CPU temp. A "Y" fan splitter cable that only sends one fan RPM back to the motherboard might be a better choice. The cooler might even come with one...

What if I run both fans at maximum RPM, then I won't have to worry about different fan speeds and fluctuating fan speeds, right?

Sound isn't a problem to me if running the fans at max speed will cause a lot of noise.

And if this is wrong, can you link me to a splitter cable?

Look at the last picture (the one with the hardware laid out) on NewEgg of that cooler -- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA68V32N4373 See the "Y" shaped cable. I told you it probably came with the correct cable. You plug the two fans into that and then that into the CPU fan plug...
