what does it do in safe mode?
should be able to boot to safe mode, f8, and then choose the option to enable low resolution.
then once in low res mode, change your video settings back to what it should be. if that does not work, then just uninstall the video driver, reboot, and it should find the plug and play driver and reinstall it automatically.
