Upgrading from a GTX770 to 980/980ti

Hi Guys,

I am considering upgrading my graphics card as I am starting to feel the limitations of my GTX770 2GB in games such as GTA V and Witcher 3. I feel at least a 980 would justify the upgrade and I would be pairing it with a stock I5 4670k. My question is whether I would experience any bottleneck if I opted for the 980ti and whether it would be worth going for this option for 1080p gaming.

Depend on the game.

I have a 4670k and a 970 and after overclocking my CPU I saw a definite increase in performance. Whether this was causing a bottleneck? Possibly.

I would plan on overclocking your cpu. would add just a bit more performance.

The 4670k probably won't fully bottleneck it.
