Recently one of my ram slots died that is it either does not give video output when both ram are connected or returns to dump thus i'm only left with only 4gb ram as the intell DH61WW only has two ram slots which is not sufficient for gaming.

So i'm thinking of replacing the motherboard with a cheap alternative.I was thinking of the ASUS H61M-D motherboard as its pretty cheap,Will it be sufficient for normal gaming (1080p 40-50fps) ?

Can you guys suggest any other good cheap motherboards for gaming for intel 2500 ?

My current rig has the following specification -

Intel i5 2500 2nd generation (sandy bridge)
Intel DH61WW Motherboard
DDR3 4*2 = 8gb RAM
Seasonic 650 SMPS
ASUS NVIDIA GTX 760 OC
XIGMATEC CPU FAN (Dark Knight)

Motherboards dont affect perfromance in games there will be no difference in FPS between 40$ motherboard and 300$ motherboard. So you can get the cheaoest one if you want, just make sure it has all connectors you need like enough sata ports for your HDD...

The cheapest option would be this board.

MSI H61M-P31
