So I'm planning on buying a new gaming pc at some point in the near feature.
I have found two PCs that are around the right price and have about the right specs.
I'm not sure which one I should get, there isn't much difference between the two but felt like
I needed someone elses opinion on which one to get.

Here they are:

2 - http://tinyurl.com/q7nyh43

Another question I have is seen as neither of these PCs have built in wifi will this TP-Link allow me to connect to my wifi?

Thanks for any help.

I think yours has less power, lesser cpu, lesser gpu.

For amd would i rather look at this,

Sure you don't want to build yourself? With that you know the components that go in.

The first would be my choice,at least you'll know the psu which isn't great, but will do.I hope that the hdd is 7200rpm,they sometimes use 5400rpm drives which wouldn't make it faster.

You're looking in pounds, are you from the UK?

Something i would look at,but needs to be assembled by you.

The wifi adapter you chose should work,i like this one,i have it.With the cable you can change it's positiion and make sure you get the best possible signal.Having the pc connected by wire would be better of course.
For a few pounds more would i pick windows 8.1,but this one should be able to upgrade to windows 10.

I would like to build it myself but i'm afraid that I'd end up breaking something or assembling it wrong seen as I've never built a PC before. I know how to do it but my inexperience is what puts me off doing it myself. Also, I'm not very familiar with how the airflow needs to be for a pc so that it doesn't get too hot.

Yes I am from the UK.

Would that PC perform better than the those premade ones? And it seems more expensive too. I understand that usually Intel CPUs are better because they do more work per cycle and have hyper threading.

+1; This is a great build for 500 quids that should handle all the games released today on High settings!

I can't help you with the insecurity.I can only say that if you follow guidelines, look at some video's and read the manuals carefully should it be fine. Will post some info about the "how to" later on.
The airflow is with the casae i chose kinda fixed,1 fan at the front for fresh air in the case,1 fan at the rear to take the warm air out.

That pc is more expensive,is because of the components i chose. With prebuilds they often skimp on something here and there.
I do think that this one will perform better. That's another reason for posting it.For amd could i probably make a build with the FX 6300 in it,but it's a kinda dead socket.Let's hope amd will make a come back in the future with their cpu's.They're not that bad btw, intel is often just better.

The build you made has a micro ATX Mobo with an ATX case. would the Mobo fit onto the golden supports that keep it from touching the case?

+1; This is a great build for 500 quids that should handle all the games released today on High settings!
How accurate is that? would it really be able to do high settings? with what fps? the processor is dual core and does it have hyper threading? or is that only for the higher end CPUs? I am making an AMD build that I'll send your way, if you could give me some feedback on that I'd appreciate it.

Pre-built computers are pretty much a rip off as well.

I still think that the intel will do better.

The m-atx motherboard will do fine in the bigger case,it just needs less stand offs/screws.With a window would i have looked especially for it,but with a closed case does it not make much difference unless using a lot of pci(e) cards.

Thanks for help. I'll see about building a pc now that I have familiarised myself with some videos. I might wait till some sales are on though. Do you have any idea what settings I would be able to play GTA V, Battlefield 4 and Arma 3 on with 60 FPS? assuming it can play those games, my terrible £400 laptop can get 30fps on low settings on Arma 3 and the second pre-made pc says it averages 90 fps on gta v high settings. that might not be very accurate however.

Does the case you put in the build have pre-attatched stand offs that are already fixed onto the case? because I know that some cases don't have them already attatched. what i was concerned about is will the m-atx mobo fit into the standoffs seen as they are pre-arranged and pre-attacthed. I imagined that they were in a specific configuration that is design to fit full sized atx mobos.

They aren't so you need to screw then in yourself. There will,in the manual,be told which holes in the motherboard tray to use.

I think that the intel build will do better than the second prebuild you posted. For how it will do with those games google the gpu (maybe later ones like the gtx 950,which will be compared to the gtx 960,because of the games) and look at reviews.
