Can't connect to internet through ethernet "Doesn't have valid IP Configuration" W7

Hi,
I was playing League of Legends when my internet disconnected. I always connect through Ethernet, usually through a powerline adapter. When I diagnosed my network the issue Windows responded with was "Local Area Connection does not have a valid IP configuration." I looked through many fixes, setting a IP and DNS, flushing my settings, and updating my Network Adapter drivers none of which worked.

The network adapter built into my motherboard is the Killer E2200. I attempted to roll back to windows 7 with old drivers, did not work. I flashed my BIOS to the latest update, did not work. Today I bought a USB ethernet network adapter, installed their drivers and I still was unable to connect. I moved my PC to plug my PC directly to the modem, not using a powerline adapter and it still did not work. I'm really out of ideas now, does anyone have any input or has had this issue before? Please ask if you need anymore information about my system.

Solution
Have you tried automatically obtaining the IP address and the DNS?
Also this might be simple but it could have happened, has the ethernet controller disabled itself in the BIOS? Mine used to do this every so often and the issue was the BIOS update, I rolled back to my original on and that fixed it from automatically switching between the two.

Also follow these steps if you haven't already

Type in the start menu services.msc
In the services, look for the DHCP Client service.
Verify that the DHCP Client service is running.
If the service is stopped, right-click DHCP Client, and then click Start.

Also I stumbled across a fix that might work, it's best to try it

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt in Command Prompt

Could you provide screenshots of your device manager?

Also what power line adapters do you use?

Has your computer got an IP address assigned?

Have you tried in command prompt. ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew

I've added screenshots of my device manager.

I have the TL-PA4010 AV500 Powerline Adapters. These are TP Link branded. However since the issue started I have attempted connecting to my modem directly, to rule out any interference from the powerline adapters.

By IP address assigned do you mean setting an IP to connect to like in the image? I've attempted this as shown with my providers DNS servers, as well as the google public DNS servers neither worked.

I tried ipconfig release and renew before, I didn't notice this but it comes up with: An error occurred while releasing interface Loopback Psuedo-Interface 1: The system cannot find the file specified. After that it shows the regular details of ipconfig.

I really appreciate your help so far, hopefully we can figure out whats going on it's really driving my crazy!

I working on a touch screen computer 2days ago it had same problem i did everything i posted in this thread, Was there a there a power outage, surge or storming out? if so i think your Ethernet chip is stuck if you have already tried repairing, uninstall and reinstalling network drivers if all this has failed. what fixed it was i unplugged the AC power cord for 30sec plugged it back in it worked, i guess unplugging the main power clears the stuck Ethernet bug then try unplugging the main power to your computer wait 30sec or more then turn back on see if that fixed it.....

I'm at work right now, but before I left I tried automatically obtaining IP address and DNS which didn't work.
I've unplugged my PC from main power as we had a power surge and a lightning storm here in the past week, however my PC wasn't affected by the surge but always worth a shot!
I will try the DHCP Client service and the netsh resetlog first when I get home, then update my BIOS and see if that works. I'll update you guys this evening. Thanks again!

Success! Thank you both so much for your help. I tried the netsh resetlog which did not work and my dhcp service was already running. Flashing my BIOS back to the last update fixed the issue and it has been running fine all evening so far. Thank you again.

OMG Thank you jackstr for the suggestion of flashing the bios. I had the exact problem as this thread indicates. Once I flashed the bois of my laptop Dell Inspirion 5558 with win 10, the onboard nic card is able to receive a valid IP from the router. Again thank you very much jackstr for that most grateful tip.
