Hi everyone,
After a year I got finally bored (annoyed) with the FX-6300 stock cooler, it's so LOOOUD, can't play games without headphones. Keep in mind I always keep the pc clean, dust it every 2-3 months. I want to replace the cooler with a hyper 212 evo.
I have never done a replacement or installation myself, but watched tons of tutorials ( that's how I started cleaning etc).
I have a Cooler Master Midi Elite 241 Case. I measured it, it should have enough space without touching the case.
In one of the installation videos I saw that when you open the case on the other side, there should be a little hole where you can reach a small part of the motherboard. My case does not have that hole. Would this mean, that I would have to take out the whole motherboard to install it? ( I really don't want to).
I can show photos if needed.
