FX-8350 Causing Low FPS When OCing.

Hey guys. I have a FX-8350 and a GTX 960. I also have a asus mobo (cant remember name). When i play csgo i will get really good fps like 300+, but then it will shoot down to 90 and stay there. But when i turn off OCing it works fine. I really want to keep the OCing on cause it helps a lot for games like arma and dayz. My temps never go over 60C when OCed. Also i am not overclocking the mobo does it itself and it usually OCs it to 4.4 Ghz. But i have no problems when its not OCed.

So your motherboard is throttling your cpu when you overclock. It's common with the 125w FX cpus when paired with cheap motherboards. It appears that your motherboard will just simply not handle overclocking. Best advice would be to keep it at stock speeds.

The mobo is the ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
