How or what do I need to put xp onto it? I have an xp pro disc that came with another comp that I have and a license # along with two win 7 #s off other cases/hard drives plus a second xp # for home edition

Solution
1) The recovery disks that come with prebuilt computers are specific to that hardware - they are not full Windows installs and lack drivers for other systems. You will almost certainly need a full XP distro disk.

2) If each of those machines is pre-built, they came with an OEM license that can't be transferred to another computer. If one of them is homebuilt and retired from service, and you installed a retail Windows license, you will be able to use that license. But it sounds like you don't have one, or you would have the full media.

3) The A70 that is wiped - what OS did it come with? You may be able to install that version of the OS using the product key on the case sticker - if there is one.

4) Otherwise, you are going...

I have 2 A70s and they both have had win 7 pro and the stickers are on the case but I don't know how to use that -- I thought someone told me that u could downgrade using those license #s

No, you can't install XP with that OEM 7 license unless you did that at time of purchase of the new system. You can install Windows 7 on that system with the code on the bottom. If you want XP you will need to get a separate license.
