This pc has an intel g3258 cpu and while trying to upgrade to windows 10, a solution was to upgrade the bios.
After updating my bios (using gigabyte @bios) I receive the bootmgr is missing press ctrl+alt+delete message.
Through searching for solutions, possibility is the partition was deactivated, or even drive letters removed.
I've downloaded and burned MiniTool Partition Wizard Bootable 9 to disc, and ran it. I can view the two drives, but see no drive letters associated with them.
Most solutions provided are to then change the drive letter, or unhide partition, but neither of those options are available to me (unhide doesn't show up, and rename is greyed out).
I've also tried using my Windows 7 install disc to try to repair, by I get the "This version of System Recovery Options is not compatible with the version of Windows" message.
I also removed the cmos battery to revert the bios (which I believe reverted it) but I still receive the bootmgr is missing message.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
