Hi,

My current desktop is pretty much nearing the end of its lifespan and I'm looking for a new one.
My price limit is 1500 euros. I'm looking for something that can run modern graphic heavy games. Like Skyforge, Archeage and the upcoming Black Desert Online at full graphics. I'm not very interested in building one myself, as I'm not even remotely tech savvy.
I'll link some potential ones below. (though any suggestions are more than welcome)
Thanks in advance!

http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Gamer-Paladin-D897
http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/system/Infinity_X77_GT/

Those were all the suggestions I personally had, I have no idea whether those would be good enough for such high end games.

Cheers,

If you buy cyber power never use any of thier cyberpower branded parts or default psus. If your going to use them do some research on the parts they have a vailable and get the better parts most people build one of them on their sytem configurater and then choose cheapo parts to save money. Then they complain about the comp[any. If you bought all the cheapo parts your self and put it together then you couldnt balme any one but yourself. If you use their higher end parts what you end up with if you dont want to build it your self is a good pc with a 3 year warranty. They do offer tier one parts you just have to choose them.

Hi galeener,

Thanks for the reply.
As I stated above, Cyberpower is but one of the options and if you have a recommendation for another pc that could fulfil my requirements, then that'd be awesome.
Nevertheless, thanks for your warning.
I hope to see some more suggestions in this thread. :)

Sorry your not getting much feed back Ibuypower is probably the same as cyberpower just make sure you get good parts . Some of the issues with Dell would be some of their parts a specific for Dell so i would problably on buy a school system or business pc from them not a gamming pc.
When I look at your links it comes out in Us dollars what you can do is use their configurator and dave the configuration then post it here then I think people will give you more feed back on what will work well and what won't. or I am half asleep.
The x77 On you last link in the first post has a bad power supply you need to pick a tier one or 2 for the PSU. The only one close is Rm 850 they dont really offer you a good selection of psus. other than that it looks ok for gamming you may also wand to go with the h100 over the h55 for a little more money if you want to over clock any.

You can't really go wrong with a 4790k system either even though the newer chips are out.

Hey again galeener,

Thanks for the reply.
Do you mean something like this?

CPU: AMD FX-9590 4.70 GHz Eight-Core AM3+ CPU 8MB L3 Cache & Turbo Core Technology
Overclocking Service: Extreme OC (Extreme Overclock 20% or more)
Cooling Fan: Corsair Hydro Series H100 (AMD) Performance Liquid Cooling system w/240mm Radiator (OEM Version) (Corsair CPU Water Cooling *** Extreme OC ***)
Coolant for Cyberpower Advance WaterCooling Kits: NONE
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 AMD 990X Chipset, CrossFire / SLI supported, ATX Mainboard w/ 4 RAM slots, 7.1 Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, SATA-III /s, RAID, *** Extreme OC ***
Internal USB/SATA Expansion Module: NONE
Memory: 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3/1866mhz Dual Channel Memory (HyperX Fury White w/Heat Spreader)
Video Card: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 4GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card (Single Card)
Power Supply Upgrade: 600 Watts Power Supplies (Cooler Master 600 Watts B600 B2 Gaming Power Supply, 80+)

And what did you think of the last pc I linked? (the Zeus EVO Lightning 3000)(the stats I just posted are the ones from that pc)
Thanks a ton in advance.

i usually stick with intel for gaming but its what ever you prefer. This is the tier list of power supplys oits what I usually go by if i need a psu I use only tier one or tier 2. It just seems to solve a lot of headaches. Of the psus they offer the RM850 is the cheapest tier 2 they offer. Other wise most of the sytems you linked with that update( RM850 psu) and the h100 upgrade seem to be ok. The h100 will help if you ever want to try overclocking. so will the rm850

Alright.
Thanks a ton for the help galeener.
Out of curiosity and as a final question.
Is there one you'd say is much better than the others or are they just about all the same?

Cheers,

For gaming the intel systems would probably be better but thats just my opinion. bang for the buck a 4790k system would be fine if your only gaming and don't require anything for drafting raytracing other apps like that a 4690k system would be ideal as the 6600k and 6700k systems are still teething as they have just been released. If you need more horse power a 5820 system is fine it really depends on you. Make sure your mother board is sli compatable if your getting a 980gtx for the future you never know when you might be able to pick up another one. And if you got the rm850 psu it will sli 2 gtx980s fine. Mostly its what you like and you just basically need
to figure out which chip you want 6800, 4970k ,4690k or 5820
for just gaming

4960k a good mother board a 256g ssd or larger , a 1 or 2 tb hdd a 980gtx 8 gig of quality memory. a decent cpu cooler are the basics of a decent gaming set up 6800 system if you want the newest or a 5820 system. If you need a little more horse power a 4790k base system. The case is really in the eye of the beholder as long as it is a good quality case with decent airflow and you like the looks.
Then you have to figure on a monitor if you want to run multimonitor or 144hz or even 4k or 2k but thats aqnother topic all together. Good luck with the build you have a good budget to get a good system.

Alright my last question, I promise. :D
I'll end up using for mostly gaming (and general browsing across the web)
So... the 4790 seems good, I just sort of made a build that includes it, please criticize it for me. ;)

Ah. It seems that finding a respectable site that ships to the Netherlands is pretty much impossible, I thought cyberpower would ship there, but it seems like they only deliver in the UK or US.
It appears building it myself might be necessary.
Unless you happen to have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
