What does my motherboard mean when it says 1866 OC?

So my motherboard, a MSI 760GMA -P34(FX) says it supports 1600 and 1866(OC) ram speeds. What exactly does that mean? Am I able to just straight up put in some 1866 ram without any problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Just to clarify, the OC is what is throwing me off.

it just means you will have to tweak settings in your bios to run the ram at that speed, otherwise it will run at 1600. there should be xmp profiles in your bios that are very easy to change.
