Hello,
I've been saving up to build a high end gaming PC for about half a year now. Currently I run a 720p Monitor with i5-3450 3.1 Ghz Processor with R9 270X 2GB from Sapphire. I wanna upgrade to a 1080p or 1440p system which runs games on Ultra settings at atleast 40+ FPS. Also, I am an Animator-in-training so I'd also like the system to be capable of some quick rendering.
But frankly, I do not follow any news or upcoming hardware sections of the companies so I am in the dark if there's some new piece of better technology around the corner. So this is where I need help.
I wan't to know what components to buy for a system capable of high-end gaming (not 4K though), rendering 3D animation projects and handle after-effects without getting noisy or tired. As far as my knowledge goes, I know I'd need a faster processor, preferably in the 3.6+ Ghz ranges, a 1000W PSU, A 980Ti (I am not sure but I read somewhere that a better range of Nvidia cards are around the corner, due in 2016), a liquid cooling system, 16? gigs of RAM, A capable (possibly higher configuration, for future upgrades) motherboard and either a SSHD or a SSD+HDD combo.
I have no time curfew, I can wait another year or more if that means a better bang for my buck. Budget is pretty flexible but I would not go wayyyy over the top and buy a $5000 rig. Open to all suggestions and ideas.
Thanks in advance
EDIT: I forgot to mention, yes I am selling my old system as I am moving to another country
