Hi everybody. Can someone make this more simple for me . I have been using fsx. For a long time now. Only thing I ever play . I am building a fully enclosed cockpit in my garage. But I need a full list of parts for a high end pc. Just for fsx. Nothing else. I find it hard to understand all the info on the net . Please can someone put a complete package together. Thanks ger......

Based on what I've read, you'd need at least an i5-750 and GTX 560 or something to run FSX smoothly. It takes advantage of up to 256 threads once you've updated it fully as well so you should get decent performance out of an FX-6 or FX-8. It seems to run more smoothly on AMD cards as well for some reason.

Based on what I've read, that should give you decent performance.

Ahh OK, I don't think you'll need an i7 but if you're going for a higher end system, you could go for this:

You're right, spending so much (as in my build) for playing FSX doesn't seem right!

Thanks guys. . I will probably have a lot of add ons. Installed by the time I am finished. Will this be still OK with these specs. . I have being running i 7 g5800. And ati. Radeom 5570. For a long time now. But when I put my two side screens on it just killed it. my aim was to have large 40 inch screen for front view and two 32 inch screens for left and right view. And one small screen for instruments display.

Ahh fair enough, playing across all those screens will need a great graphics card with 4GB+ of graphics memory I think. Considering this is the one game that will actually use 8 cores (once updated) I'd go for an FX-8 and a decent GPU instead of an i5.
