Here are my PC specs:
CPU: I5 3570K s1155 with the stock Intel CPU cooler
GPU: GTX 970 Herculez 4G (X2 Version)
Motherboard: H61DEL s1155
RAM: Kingston 4GB 1333MHz DDR3
HDD: WD Caviar GP/1TB SATA 3 64mb
PSU: Corsair CXV2 500W ATX12V2.3 80+
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit

I'm planning on upgrading my motherboard to a z75 Pro3 s1155 and getting a CoolerMaster 212 EVO to be able to overclock my CPU.

I don't want to do a clean install when i change my motherboard because i want to keep the Win10 upgrade notification in my taskbar. I will uninstall all drivers i find before changing the motherboard so i can keep my Win7 OS. When the drivers are uninstalled i just take the motherboard out and replace it with the new one. After I'm done changing the motherboard i will upgrade to Win10 with a clean install, and i should be free of all of the possible unwanted drivers left on my PC and start fresh.

So, things i want to achieve with my masterplan:

- Clean install with Windows 10
- All my PC parts are still working :p

The question is that will it work? All help will be appreciated! If there is any questions please ask!

You may not have the choice, driver removal or no. Very often (usually) a motherboard swap dictates a full reinstall.

After a full reinstall and all the updates, the Notification should appear in a day or two. I just bought a new 8.1 laptop, and after all the initial updates had run, there was the notification thing.

And the Win 10 notification thing is absolutely not necessary. Assuming a fully updated, activated, system, you can do the upgrade at any time, with the MediaCreation tool from MS. You don't have to wait for that thing to tell you.
