Will a stock fx6300 bottleneck the r9 380? I'm not planning on overclocking. Also, could you recommend me a decent motherboard

Gigabyte 970A UD3P - that's what I use with FX-6300 and R9270, no bottleneck love it.

It will depend on the game but when there is it should be minimal

You shouldn't have any bottleneck now if you had said your going to use a 980 or r 290 then ya you have a slight bottleneck but with a 380 you wont.
