Hello guys,

I know about the whole kits-thing is succesful because matching different sticks is problematic.

However, what if we match sticks w/ different brands (i.e G.Skill & Kingston or w/e) with the same values of Mhz & Latency .. is this still problematic ? can someone elaborate on that a lil bit ?

Thanks

Mixing memory, especially from different vendors, different ages, and all that is like gambling.

Sometimes you win, but most often you lose.

The only way to know whats going to happen is to either buy memory that is known to be compatible with your motherboard and replace the existing memory. Everything else is a crap shoot.
