i can't find my new hdd in my computer and when i checked it in disk management, it is offline but when i tried to initilaze it i'm getting a I/O error help me!!!!!!!
I'd recommend you to try using a different SATA cable to connect the hard drive with, or even try with a different SATA port on the motherboard. Afterwards, attempt to initialize the HDD again. If the error persists, I'd strongly recommend you to go to your HDD manufacturer's website and download their diagnostic utility to test the drive with. It will help you determine the health and SMART status of the drive.
