I just finished my build and im wondering if i should get an aftermarket cpu cooler. I'm not planning on overclocking yet but do plan on it in the future, so I know I will eventually need one but at the moment im not sure.
I have an I7-4790k just with stock cooler and a Sapphire r9 fury.
My main concern is whether or not the Gpu is going to cause enough heat to cause any issues with the CPU while gaming and such.

Solution
It's fine for now with the stock cooler. With a powerful CPU like 4790K it's unlikely you'll need to overclock it unless you like to mess with stuff like that. performance gains are not that much. It will turbo to 4.4 Ghz. without overclocking anyways. The case will see a bit of heat from the Fury. Monitor temps for a bit to see how it goes and let us know if you think it's getting too hot.

Solution
The stock cooler is good enough for non-overclocking use, but it runs loud when under load. An aftermarket cooler (usually) runs more quiet and is a must if you plan to overclock (don't use the stock cooler fro overclocking, it simply cannot handle the extra heat).
If your case has decent airflow the GPU will not cause any trouble with the CPU temps.

Alright cool. Thanks guys, you've put my mind at ease. CPU is sitting at around 43* at idle which is fine. I'll have to check when gaming but i think i'll be all set for now.
