I have a Corsair Obsidian 450D case with the two stock fans that came with the case moved from the front intake to the top as exhaust. One is plugged into the cpu opt header and the other on a normal fan header. The on the cpu opt header idles higher than the one on the normal header.

The one on the normal header is the one I think is making the irritating buzzing noise. My computer is otherwise very quiet so it's very noticeable. I've seen some talk of low rpm buzz on some fans but don't know much about it and whether that may be the problem I have.

I guess I could locate which header it is on and then manually adjust it to see if the buzz goes away or do I just have a bad fan?

There is nothing to worry about. it is just the fans noise:). i suggest if its really bugging you to get a muffler for your fan. as long as there is nothing wrong with your gameplay and it is not overheating then it is just the noise of the fan. Feel free to ask me anymore problems if they come up

Well it doesn't bother me when gaming because I usually have headphones on. It's been winter here and have had a fan heater going so have not noticed it as much but when its not going it's quite irritating when just web browsing etc. Seems odd that it's only the fan doing it.
