Yesterday my ps was running smoothly until yesterdays night when it was very very slow, I opened task manager and cpu was like 10% only I checked for viruses with AVG, malwarebytes and bitdefender and no sign of viruses found.

CPU: intel core i5 330s @ 2.70GHz (quadcore)

Ram: 8.00 Gb

Windows: 8.1

system type: 64 bit

Graphics card: intel HD graphics

the most programm thats using the most is service host local system (16) im not sure what that is. Im sorry for my lack of intelligence regarding computers. It could be also due to CPU overheating maybe? Im not sure about that

If service host local system (16) is using so much of your disk, you may have a virus on your computer. Virusses are very often displayed as Service host in your task manager and are very hard to delete. I'm sure resetting your Windows will help, just don't forget to back up your files ;)!

^although that is possible it is unlikely... let's try some other things before fresh installing Windows (although if you're up for it, it is a great thing to do)

Also I assume you have some kind of anti virus software? If not download malwarebytes and do a full scan.

I managed to get disk to 2% and like that. I ran command prompt on administrator and type: net.exe stop "Windows search" and it worked for me also rechecked for any type of virus on malwarebytes and avg and no viruses found
