Hello there, I would really get to the point of this problem of mine. For a few months now I have been getting those red, blue artifacts on my screen, so I supposed my GPU's ram is going bad.

Lately I have been experiencing the following problems:

- artifacts
- screen tear/shattered image during desktop/gaming
- PC hangs and afterwards goes to black screen and says nvidia driver has recovered...
- PC hangs during gameplay but sound is playing

Is this a faulty MOBO/PSU not providing sufficient power to the GPU or is the GPU itself bad.
I tried Futurmark and it hanged about 1min in and the temps did not go above 83C.

An example:

I would be grateful if someone could spot a fault component.

Start by completely uninstalling the nVidia drivers and reinstalling the latest version. I would also make sure there is no dust buildup on the heat sinks for all components - cpu, gpu, power supply, etc...
Test
If you still have artifacts, try downclocking the card to see if that fixes the issue. If downclocking it helps, then the card is bad. If it doesn't, then the card is bad.

Just to make sure I would also run some CPU and memory tests to rule those out as an underlying problem.

I forgot to mention, I have allready tried all the above (I regularely remove dust from my pc) and I have allso tried completely reinstalling the nvidia drivers.

What does that even mean? :)

P.S. While writing this reply my PC hanged 5 times and went to black screen while saying the nvidia driver recovered.

If underclocking it still doesn't solve the issue, then I would say the card is bad.
I would still run some cpu stress tests and regular memory tests to rule those out.

Have you taken the card out and reseated it?
Try running it with the side off so the GPU can get fresh air. 83C seems kind of high.
