I have multiple internal hard drives, 1 SSD and 2 HDDs. I am about to install a new operating system and was wondering if reformatting will erase all of my drives or just the one with the old OS?

Solution
If you're installing to the SSD, you want to disconnect the HDD's - so it doesn't write the system partition to them. You can delete everything from every drive withing the install. Start the install, delete every partition from every drive. Then turn the system off, disconnect the HDD's. Install to the SSD. Install drivers, and update the OS. Then shut down and re-connect the HDD's and boot up and go into disk management and create a partition on each hdd, and format them.
