Hello.

I've decided to use 2643 V3 and supermicro X10DRL-I, does anybody know where's good review for DDR4 2133 ECC memory? I need to select one :)

BTW, does non-ECC make sense if I really wanna better performance ?
Thank you.

BR,
Eric

Thats a serious board setup, what are you building (server?)?

I think that you will not find a not perceptible performance difference between ECC and non-ECC. ECC costs sometimes a lot more, but if you're building a server especially in a business environment its important. Another thing to keep in mind is you generally want to stick to tested memory to minimize headaches with a new build (especially a complicated one like using this board), there is no non-ECC memory tested with it: http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/xeon/c600/x10drl-i.cfm (click on memory tested list on right)

Ecc is usually for a server enviroment. None ecc is usually for home / consumer/ business. Ecc usually cost a lot more also If you are not building a server and just using your system for home use non ecc would be better cost efective wise.

Thank you ! Could I know the general speed difference between ECC and Non-ECC ? few ns ?
Yes, I am setting up a server, need to maxium the CPU cores performance.

Thank you, do you have any recommendation on ECC ddr4 2133 memory ? I think we only need 32G memory.

The speed difference is negligible, I don't even think you could measure in ns. If you're building a server you want ECC memory, also because of the setup of that board and that it has only been tested with ECC memory you want the compatibility to be there.

As for the Memory to use, click the link I posted and check the "Tested Memory" link on the right, select 32GB and the buy whichever one of those you can find. This will ensure maximum performance ans stability.

Yes with out the mother board listed its hard to tell what has been tested to work with it. What you need to do is go to the motherboard manufacturer websight and see which ecc has been tested and approved for it if its on the list then google for a review of which memory kit you can get. Sorry i see the link the listed memory is as below
MEM-DR432L-SL01-ER21 Samsung M393A4K40BB0-CPB Samsung K4A8G045WB-BCPB 2 RoHS Low Profile

MEM-DR432L-HL01-LR21 Hynix HMA84GL7MMR4N-TF Hynix H5AN8G4NMMR 4 RoHS Low Profile

MEM-DR432L-SL01-LR21 Samsung M386A4G40DM0-CPB Samsung K4A8G045WD-MCPB 4 RoHS Low Profile
Micron MTA72ASS4G72LZ-2G1A1 Micron D9RGN 4 RoHS Low Profile

any of there will work for your board.
You also will not probably see a real world difference in speed of any of these. Some of these are offered on amazonand new egg
