Is disabling automatic defragment in Drive option ( Optimize Drives ) is enough ? Or I should do other things also to maximize my SSD's life ?

This article says [ http://www.hanselman.com/blog/TheRealAndCompleteStoryDoesWindowsDefragmentYourSSD.aspx ] SSD defragment is necessary once a month but it that true ?

Also, I was reading this article [ http://www.outsidethebox.ms/why-windows-8-defragments-your-ssd-and-how-you-can-avoid-this/ ]. Now as I don't have any ideas about SSDs so asking you guys, should I follow whatever written on it ?

Depends on the system and SSD, modern SSD's have a longer life than most Hard Drives, Windows 8 and latter will use the Defrag (Optimise) process to run any outstanding TRIM operations.

@Octavecode That thread was from 2010, both SSD technology and the way Windows handles SSD's have moved on quite a lot since then.

So you are saying I don't have to disable anything also no need to worry ?
