i accidently turn on mac filter on my router! now me and all my housemate cant access the internet or even the modem it self. everytime i put the wifi password it just doesnt connect to the modem.. like i cant go on to the 192.168.0.1 to disable the mac filter.. and the thing is everyone doesnt know who screwed up the internet.. i cant just go to the router and use my LAN cable they will find out i did it.. and the thing is i cannot reset my modem because no one in the house knows what the original wifi password is, only the guy who owns the house and he's on holiday for 4 months! cant contact the isp because i do not own the broadband. please is there any other way to turn off the mac filter, and just remember no one have access to it so spoofing client wont work..
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME! MUCHLY APPRECIATED FOR HELPING

Depending on the model of the router (you may need to do some research) but those that i have used always place your own Mac address of the computer you used to turn on mac filtering is placed in the exclusion list so that you can still access the router. If yours hasn't done that or you removed your own mac address from exclusion list then factory reset is the only way or Ethernet. There is no other way.
