I think my motherboard might be dead-ish? How would I test it under this situation?

I've had my computer for about 6 months now, and I ran into a problem where my computer would just freeze about once a day, or the screen would turn black and I would have to hard shutdown my computer, which would fix the problem until it occurred the next day. I've replaced my GTX 970 (rma'd it) and the problem still persists, so now I'm wondering if it's just the motherboard. Is there a way to test if it's faulty?

specs-
Geforce GT 430
16.00GB RAM
ASRock B85 anniversary
Intel Xeon CPU E3-1231 V3
Windows 10 (was also happening on Windows 7)

When I get the black screen it still shows my cursor, but I don't remember being able to move it, and when it freezes... well it just freezes, but I can still hear things like Skype.

How would I go about doing that?

I've tested about 8 different drivers while I was talking with the Nvidia Support, and they all did the same thing.

I was using the GTX 970 while I was in contact with the customer support, but after I RMA'd the card about 3 days ago I put in my old GT 430, so that's the one that I'm using now, and I've the same problem with both cards.
