Solution
Tier Three:
Some Haswell compatible, some not (maybe unconfirmed). Still safe to use and stable, just lower quality components. Some capacitors maybe Japanese, but can include the Taiwanese capacitors. Not really ideal in serious overclocking or super-high load situations, such as a Bitcoin mining rig or a high end gaming system.

You are fine with a tier 3 psu when using a 750ti, but you mentioned that you will be upgrading to a 980 in the future.
Having a 4790k and a 980 is a high end pc, so get a tier 1 or 2 psu right now so that you don't have to spend your money twice in the future.

this is a solid tier 1 psu, you don't have to buy...
The i7 and the 16GB I guess is for your editing work because as far as gaming goes you don't really need more the the i5-4690K, and 8GB of RAM. I would go with a 250GB SSD, 120GB seem to fill-up before you know what is happening. The GTX 750 Ti, is a very nice card for what it is but for a little more you can get a new GTX 950 which is considered the best entry to mid level gaming card for the money right now. Not to crazy about your power supply you could try a XFX 550 model.

Well im going to try to get into pc gaming slowly, right now I'm picking that card because of my budget. After, maybe in the near future if i have the money i would get a Gtx 980. So i wont be playing my games in high settings for now. its just to give pc gaming a try. But what kind of PSU do you think i should get, if in the future i would be getting a better graphics card.

Alright so a 250gb SSD to install windows should be good enough eh? and can i put allmy programs on my 1TB western. if ever i can also add a second SSD. And i for budget i cant get a nice GPU yet. but soon enough ill collect more money to get a GTX 980. Also, is the XFX 550 model the best for my build if i was to add a much better GPU later on?

this is a solid tier 1 psu, you don't have to buy this one though, look at the psu's in tier 1 and 2, find the 650w version of them and find out wich psu fits in your budget. you will probably pay around 30$ more than the cx600, but then you don't have to upgrade your psu anymore

Alright so that ill do. What about my components do they all seem to be compatible with eachother? My motherboard supports ddr3 ram sticks with 1600 MHZ. So i took some corsair ddr3, 1600Mhz. Also can my motherboard handle any graphics card? i wanna make sure i get a solid cpu and motherboard. and im guessing any graphics card should fit in the case.

yes everything is compatible, and i am sure that that motherboard can fit a graphics card since it has SLI, that actually means that you can fit 2 or even more depending on the pcie x16 slots.

the 4790k is a solid cpu, I even use it my self. If you really want to take your cpu to the next level for video editing/rendering then you could also consider a i7-6700k, it is faster than the 4790k in prettymuch everything but that means that you need to have more expensive ddr4 ram and a motherboard that has a 1151 socket and they are also way more expensive.

the 980 will fit on your mobo no doubt but what we mean is that your case might be 150mm in width and if the cooler is 160mm it will not fit in the case.
same for the gpu, if the case only has 220mm space for a gpu and yours is 230mm it will also not fit

I really like that case. But maybe i was thinking if i wanted to do something extra i would get a full tower where everything fits and has room.. But i would like a white case. I dont know much about good brand cases. All i know is corsair and nzxt. Do you know a good white case? Its just to match my setup
