Hey Guys not sure this is in the right thread but hopefully , Ive had a pc i use for gaming and everything else , for a good while now which over the last few months i've noticed continuous problems with the computer running slowly , mostly followed by windows explorer stopping responding and frequently just freezing after that or taking ages to return , if ever ,

The pc was running fine before that , I checked pretty much everything i could within win 7 home edition which is what its running , error / disk checks , virus scans/malware , ram , gpu etc etc until i ended up starting over and Reinstalling windows , which i have now done , yet still having the same problems even on a clean install with slow slow performance / freezes / not responding / crashing , Im not really sure what the next best thing to do is , I have considerd upgrading it to win10 hoping that may help ?

Any Help , I would be hugely appreciative ,

Mitch

Ok cool i will check that , thanks

I have since checked such things but i cant really find an issue in there , i also have 8 GB RAM installed on that computer so i dont think anything could be using anywhere near that much

I dont think it was anything with the RAM causing it , the issue seems to just make the pc not respond and go incredibly slowly and windows has only just been installed on the computer , also its not that old so im really not sure , could it be the HD ?

Hey , Thanks For your Reply , at Current the Issue Seems to Be resolved , I think it may have been some issue with the pc not installing updates , it had a problem with that for a good while , Ive checked a few things and now they seem to have been resolved , still running a few tests on the comp to make sure , but il Update if all is Fully working :) many thanks for both your answers though :)
