R9 270 non X 500 watt psu enough ?

So my system is a AMD Phenom x4 955 black edition
M4A78LTM motherboard - yes i know its not PCie 3.0 but its 2.0x16 and pcie is backwards compatible
4gb ddr3 ram
1tb hdd
And a 500watt psu from Thermal Master with a 12v 20a rail and im not sure if the card will run please help i want the 2gb windforce from gigabyte.

Yea but im not sure if the 20A are enough i know it requires 1 6pin i have it but im not sure because ive seen it requires 24A thats 288Watts and the 20A is only 240 thats 48 watts and its not an option to buy new psu now i dont want it to burn 10 mins after booting
