I just very recently purchased an Intel i7-5960X processor and i'm running it at stock settings WITHOUT any oc-ing whatsoever. So, just wanted some opinions on what the ideal temps should be at idle and load (gaming And rendering). My ambient temp in my room hovers around 22 C (lowest) and 37 C (highest during summer). So right now, ambient is ~25, with that the cpu at idle is running at 33-35 C and under load, it's ~65 C. Is that good enough?

And if i were to oc it and get either a CM Nepton 240M or a Corsair H110i, what should be the ideal temps?

Thanks in advance :)

The temps you are getting are perfectly acceptable. Intel chips can handle a lot of heat. For some reason, I can not for the life of me find online what the max temp threshold is for this chip. As a generality, I prefer to keep my chips running under 85 at full load stress testing. In real world applications and use, you will not get it anywhere near as hot as it gets while stress testing.
