First time OC, 4.4 @ 1.325v is that too much? i5 4670k

Computer seems to lock up anywhere below 1.3 still trying to find a stable point it runs but crashes during P95. Wondering if I should go back to 4.3 or if my voltage is still safe, the numbers are red and it scares me. I have a Noctua Heatsink http://www.pcstats.com/ArticleImages/201005/noctuaNHD14_300.jpg

My opinion, yes to high, others will prob say no, sounds like you didn't get a very good CPU.

That is not good at all. Intel specs 1.3v to be the max safe voltage for long term use.

Sounds like you got a pretty bad chip if all you can get is 4.3ghz stable at 1.3v.

Sounds like your chip made above average chips possible.
1.3 is about the highest vcore for 24/7 operation.
I looked, but could find no official intel info.

One thing you might do is test with OCCT.
It uses a set of instructions that are more normal than the ones used for P95.

What auto voltage is at 4.4 ? Do u have any other voltages manually set
