What CPU should i upgrade to?

Hi a few month ago got my computer but it was pretty bad and could barely play games.
Im a gamer so i bought a msi gtx 750 ti, it greatly improved my gaming experiance however i need to upgrade it even further if i want to play the more recent title.
I need help can anybody give me an advise on a cpu and motherboard i should get, i was thinking getting the fx 6300.
What are your sugestions?
BTW im still new to pc upgrading.

My specs:
-CPU: Intel Pentium E2140 1.60 GHz
-Motherboard: ASRock 2Core1333 2.66G
-GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 750 TI
-Ram: 2Gb (planing on upgrading to 8Gb when i get the CPU)
-PSU: 500W (dont know the brand)

Depends on your budget. You want to get an 1150 intel chipset motherboard. The make and features is not really an issue. Find one that suits your needs (fits in your case, can support 8GB RAM [all of them can]) Best to go cheap unless you really need a specific feature. stick to the main brands however [ASROCK/MSI/ASUS/Gigabyte]
Then the processor is really up to you. Look at your budget and then choose any 1150 socket chipset. A decent I3 will be fine( say Core i3-4150, Core i3-4350) but if you want to spend more on an I5 or I7 then go for it. I5's are the go-to for gaming price/performance.
Choose your motherboard and RAM and then look at your budget and choose a CPU :)
