Newbie question: I bought the 32GB (4x8GB) memory after checking compatibility on the Crucial site. The motherboard is flashed with the latest bios (1801) version on their support site. The memory configured to 2400MHz by default when booted the system. I have tried the EZ Tuneup provided with the bios, and the EZ XMP switch on the MB to get the memory clock speed up to 2666MHz. With the EZ Tuneup, the system simply says that overclocking failed. With the EZ XMP switch, the MB recognizes the memory in the A1 and C1 slots and sets them to 2666MHz, but does not even recognize the memory in B1 and D1 slots.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The problems follows the memory sticks when I switch them around. Looks like they may need the voltage to be raised to work reliably at 2666MHz. Closing the thread.
