FX6300 Max safe operating temp

So i couldnt find the answer on any of these sites, answers were different ( 62, 71, 55 etc.)
Then i decided to contact AMD itselft about this question:

P.S If the image link stops working - Idle : 30's Max : 70c

I believe that thats how it is, as the amd overdrive also says that its 70c. I had doubts because pretty much everyone was saying to keep it below 60. But according to amd and overdrive, im safe up to 70c. :)

Yeah, under 60C is the common wisdom. But the CPU will throttle before it lets itself get to destructive temperatures. (assuming it is working correctly).
I usually let my FX-6350 get hotter than that during stress testing, tho. In real life gaming, it never stays at those temps for more than an instant. Usually in the 40s and 50s.

I was just curious about temps, because my fx6300 sometimes goes above 60, as its overclocked to 4.5Ghz, and its summer here, ambient is pretty high. Though it never reaches 70. While prime 95 it tops at around 56-57 i believe. While playing something like gta 5, which is very cpu bound as well, it goes above 60 here and there. But it must be safe, if amd says so.. :D
