Any difference between BX and BXC (Chinese) intel CPUs

I can get in retail box an Ivy Bridge CPU for a decent price. Only thing is, it's the Chinese version, with a model number that begins BXC, not BX. Is there a difference between BX boxed CPUs and BXC CPUs destined for the Chinese market?

I don't believe there is a difference other than the packaging. Can't find anything to prove this, but I'm sure I've heard this question before.

I think intel were trying to get more of a foothold in the market, and were selling components slightly cheaper.

As long as it the same model ie 4790k. it will have the same spec.
I think the only different is where they manufacture, and possible warranty.
