I don't know about "best" but the AC-7260 is a dog. I've used and read about a lot of laptops which use it, and it's got major problems with maintaining speed, and properly waking up from sleep. Mine degrades from 866 Mbps to about 500 Mbps after a few hours even though it's sitting about 8 feet from the router. I have to manually turn it off and back on again to get it back to 866 Mbps. (This is the link speed. Actual throughput ranges from about 15 MB/s to 35 MB/s. While that's better than what you're getting, there is a lot of lag and hiccups when to falls back to ~500 Mbps, which is why I have to reset it.)

Unfortunately, newer wifi cards (like the AC-7265) have moved to the M.2 slot. So if you want AC (which your router supports), the 7260 may be the only game in town.
