My wifi router died. I bought a new one, but when I went to install it, I realized that it only has a space for an ethernet cable, and all I have is a phone line. Do I need a different router? Any recommendations? Thank you

You need a WIFI gateway, and one that's compatible with your ISP, ask them.

Sounds like you need a DSL modem/router and all you bought was a router.

Check with your ISP whether they have list of approved DSL modems. If you are with AT&T UVerse, you actually have to buy the gateway from them.
