sorry to post here because there is no ''psu'' title in create new thread.

i am deciding to buy 1200 watt psu for 3 way sli along with skylake build. want to be future proof for this component.
please tell which brand is good for parts quality and performance.

these are the models along with price that i can get.

1- corsair hxi 1200i @ $270. fully modular.
2- thermaltake tough power grand 1200 watt @ $240. semi-modular
3- coolermaster v1200 @ $275. fully modular.

thanks

Thermaltake PSUs are not that good at all.

Coolermaster and corsair has some units that are very good, but most units are "ok-ish" to downright garbage.
The units that corsair and coolermaster makes that are really good, are frankly more expensive then their competition and thus not worth it.

I would much rather suggest seasonic, xfx, superflower, or evga (B2, G2, GS series).

thanks for quick response, thats i love about tom's experts :)

it means corsair hxi 1200 is good option.
there is $100 price difference in axi1200i and hxi100i..
is it worth to spend $100 for axi 1200i for the sake of fan control that feature is coming along with 6gen mobos? or should i go for hxi one ??
