WHAT DO I DO?! I learned SLI is only good for minor FPS increase and huge setups with like 3 - 5 monitors... well i just want FPS increase and i use 2 monitors. Of course if i SLI i gatta get a new MB and a better PSU but if its really worth it i can save and get that...

UPDATE: so i will get the GTX 980 TI but what brand should i get... i have 300 in the bank and ima sell my GPU (less than a year use and someone might wanna SLI) so i maybe can get 650$

I presume that you already have a GTX 780, hence why you're asking this question. I've seen many comparisons of 780 Ti vs GTX 970; the 970 always wins. If you had a 970 then it would at least be worth considering, purchasing a second one. But a second 780 is a bad option.

Long story short: Buy the GTX 980 Ti. I like MSI GTX 980 Ti 6G Gaming card the best. I like the EVGA branded one second best. You can't go wrong with either one though.

Get the 980ti, I've read some different threads and people are saying the SLI 780's do give you better performance but only by 10%-15%. You should also get the 980ti because it will be less outdated in the future and you will also have less driver issues and problems in general.

get the 980ti, i don't know the performance of 2 780's but 2 980's outperform the 980ti by only 6-10fps so 2 780's will do less then that and you mentioned that u need to buy a new mobo and psu in order to go sli. also going from 3gb to 6gb is also nice since you have 2 monitors
