Just how good or bad is my rig?

I just switch from console to pc. And I'm loving it the only problem is that I'm using my 720p 60hz Samsung 24in tv as monitor and the display sucks balls.
So my rig
Cpu:Intel i7 4970k
Gpu:Gigabyte gtx970 g1windforce
Mobo: Asus z97 atx
Ssd:Samsung EVO 850 250gb
Memory:wb blue 1tb hdd
Ram:mushkin stealth enchance 16gb(2x8)
Psu:750w gold gigabyte
Case:coolermaster 912 haf midtower
Opital drive:asus DVDs burner
Os:windows 10

I was wondering if this will be enough to beat my old next generation console ps4 and Xbox one. And will I be able to play fallout 4 and mgs v in high settings?

Also what monitor should I get?

Yes this beats XOne and PS4 by far, And you wont have any problems with high settings. Xbox One and PS4 graphics processors are roughly equivalent to Radeon HD 7870 ish (was released 2012!). Welcome to PC gaming.

Super solid rig awesome hardware. Get a 1440p for look and 60fps or 1080p for 100fps+..

I have a question lol and thanks a bunch it's just my display when I was playing some games or going to youtube my display looks kinda choppy. But to my real question why is it when I download fallout 3,nv and skyrim they say they aren't compatible with my windows 10
