So I just built a new computer and it seems to be working fine except for this persistent crash. It typically happens when there is significant movement being shown on the monitor or when using Firefox (not as much with Explorer). The Screen will start jumping down, then a little while later it'll turn to vertical lines having a shade lighter and darker alternating (no movement though) So far I've gotten Yellow and Green lines (Different times) and also a gray screen (couldn't really tell if there were lines or not. The audio will get stuck when this happens as well. I've updated all drivers, checked all connections, (rebooted for those of you who'd suggest so) and bought Windows 8.1 because I thought it might have been Ubuntu. The only thing I haven't done yet (that I know of) is update the bios. I haven't changed any bios settings though as I realized I didn't know as much as I thought I did, So it may be that something's not getting enough electricity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
