I asked this before and i got some tips and i changed it so i want to know if these parts would fit together.

Cpu: intel core i7 4790k 4ghz quad core processor

Motherboard: asus maximus VII hero

Graphics card: msi gtx 970

RAM: corsair veangance pro series DIMM 240 pin 16gb 2400 mhz

Psu: corsair cx750

Case: NZXT phantom full tower

Hardrive: samsung 850 evo 250 gb sata III internal ssd + wd black 3tb sata 4

$1387

Would it work and can i make it better for gaming without going over 1400?

Sorry I couldn't match your parts exactly the same, such as the pink case, different ram, but I checked and everything will work. The only real way I see to save money without reducing GPU/CPU is getting a cheaper MOBO. Other than that, to save yourself some time, use pcpartpicker.com to solve compatibility questions :)
