CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 445
GPU: Radeon HD 5670 512MB
PSU: Cooler Master rs-500-pcar-a3 500 Watt
MB: ASRock M3A770DE AM3
HD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA/300 7200RPM 16MB
OS: 32-bit Windows 10 (switching to 64-bit once I upgrade)
My computer has always been slightly slow but for the past year or so it's been moving like a snail. Everything will start not responding. When I put something in my url bar, sometimes it'll take 15-20 seconds to show up, and will often make my Chrome stop responding. I have like 5 applications open and probably 6 tabs. Nothing insane, but it's ridiculously slow. I've already ordered 8GB RAM and am gonna upgrade to 64-bit, but now I'm seeing in my task manager that my "Disc" is often at 100% like my RAM. That's my hard drive right? Could that also be slowing my computer down? Will I get a significant performance increase when I install this RAM I ordered or will the hard drive still make it slow?
