Hello,

Recently I stopped getting a display when booting using the PCI express slot, so I switched to the PCI 2.0 slot (Which works). When I use the express slot, my monitor doesn't detect a display and my computer seems to freeze (When a press the Num. lock button on the keyboard the light doesn't turn on/off, and when I press the power button the PC turns off instantly). I have tried resetting the CMOS, but it didn't work. Can anyone please help?

System:
MOBO: MSI Z97 PC Mate
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 280X
PSU: Corsair VS650
CPU: Intel i7 4790K

Thank you!

Sorry I forgot to add that I had flown it from Singapore to France, and when I started it up the slot didn work. I was already having some display issues before the flight but nothing like this.

FIX: In the BIOS, I set the PCIe Gen to 2.0. Now the PCIe 3.0 slot works. Another solution if no display is shown during boot is to remove the power cord and hold down the power button for 30-60 seconds.
