Hello, I've had my current PC for approximately 4 years now, I bought the system from Dell, it has served me well but it's time to move on. I've had 7870 on it for quite some time and unfortunately 7870 is just not good enough for the current games.
Most of you are most likely going to suggest me building my own system, but I'd rather not. I plan on buying a system from Scan.co.uk and I am going to use their "Scan Finance" (hopefully I will be able to). Anyway, let me move on to the actual subject - my new system!
The system that I'm after is pretty much the one below with some tiny changes:
http://www.scan.co.uk/3xs/configurator/overclocked-custom-gaming-pc-carbon-ti
Intel Core i7 5820K CPU with Hyper-Threading overclocked to 4.4GHz
EVGA 6GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
16GB 2666MHz Corsair Vengeance DDR4
Asus X99-A motherboard
512GB Samsung SM951 PCI-E SSD
As well as the monitor below:
144Hz 24" AOC G2460PG G-Sync
I plan on potentially streaming in the future therefore I'll be using 2 monitors, my current one as well as the one above this sentence. I am most likely going to be gaming on 1920x1080 and therefore I don't think that any game will be an obstacle for the next 3+ years due to 980 Ti.
Please let me know your thoughts/opinions/suggestions regarding this decision. I'm aware that 980Ti might be an overkill for me - but I am definitely okay with that. I just don't want my graphics card to choke on anything for the next few years!
Thank you for reading
