I'm looking to upgrade from my current build, and I'm wondering if the following specs are a good set up for gaming (I want to be able to get good framerates at 1080 while recording footage simultaneously, but as of currently I have little or no interest in going beyond that resolution)

I'd also be interested in the opinions on the case, as I have my doubts about it's quality, however it's a bundle deal, so if it's a bad case I may have to swap it out for another one. Still, if the case isn't good enough, alternatives would be much appreciated.

specs copypasted
Case : Galaxy Evolution Tower Case With Switchable Red or Blue Led
Power Supply : XFX TS650 Bronze Certified 80 Plus 650W Power Supply
Motherboard : Gigabyte Z97P-D3 (supports new 5th Gen Intel CPU)
CPU : Intel I7 4790K 4th Gen Quad Core CPU 4.0Ghz (4.4Ghz Turbo)
Hard Drive : 1tb Sata Hard Drive
Memory : 16gb DDR3 2400mhz Corsair Vengeance Pro Memory
Graphics Card : Latest Geforce GTX 970 4gb

As of currently, this build would cost me 1100 euro, with the caveat that a friend is buying my old system from me. In ireland at least, it seems like this price is actually cheaper than the components individual cost in local suppliers. However if people think I can get the componenets individually cheaper, then I'm perfectly capable of building it myself.

I'm afraid this is a repost slightly altered, as the last post received one highly irrelevant answer which was for some reason automatically chosen as the best solution, and killed the thread. I apologise if reposting is against best practice on this forum.

Thanks for any advice!

Its a good system, everything will work great.
I'll suggest to go with the case Corsair air 540, really good for dealing with heat.

I would also go for the G.Skill Ripjaw X series for memory.

If you got money get a SSD (Samsung Evo or Sandisk Extreme Pro, depends budget)

Also the new Intel Skylake is also recommended like the i7 6700k, you'll also need a new MoBo and you can have DDR4 RAM, but budget is probably the question here aswell.

Thank you. Comments on the case? I'm rather lost on case selection, as my last few systems have all used the same ancient lump of a case. Essentially, I'm concerned about heat issues if the case has bad airflow and fan accommodation. (Though if necessary I suppose I could try modifying the case.)

Yes, I'm afraid it's impossible for me to go significantly beyond the budget listed above. It's also difficult for me to extravagantly customise this list beyond a few details as it's part of a bundle from a UK seller to Ireland (so far, I have been unable to find any seller of individual parts selling at a sensible price in Ireland that doesn't come to more than the cost for a shop custom build with the same components)

The Corsair recommended Yonose seems like a good case certainly, but it isn't actually available from any Irish sellers that I can find, and would be an expensive item to ship from the UK separately, so if anyone might be able to recommend any other cases?
