My build:
CPU - i5 4690K
GPU - MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
RAM - 8GB Gskill Ripjawz
Motherboard - ASUS Z97 Pro Gamer
HDD - 1TB

For the PSU I wanted to buy an Antec VP650PM. First of all, I'd like to know if it is good enough for my build. Secondly, there are shitloads of power outages in my country and my PC won't survive without a UPS. But I'm not sure which UPS to use and which would be compatible. Any wise help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Solution
The Antec VP650P is a decent quality PSU made by Delta Electronics. The power you selected is fine and has a small amount of headroom.

Thanks a lot Archaic59 for your answer! I was gonna choose a Seasonic PSU first but didn't do so as I heard that it isn't compatible with UPS's that do not have pure sine wave output. Is there any way I can know that whether the Antec VP650P is compatible with such UPS's?

For power supplies exceeding 500 watts on a server grade or gaming system, APC recommends their Smart-UPS®, Smart-UPS® XL and Smart-UPS® RT line of UPS systems. This is due to high inrush of current when switch is made from normal power to battery operation, or, when pc comes out of sleep state.
Make sure the UPS you choose is rated for max load of your power supply (650 watts) and not normal operating load conditions(300-350 watts). I'm not an expert on UPS but this is the information I found. I hope this helps.
