Hello everyone
I have an HP Pavilion Slimline Desktop Model#s5-1554
It originally came with Windows 8 but it was running slow and the harddrive died.
I purchased a new 1Tb Western digital harddrive and I have a Windows 7 DVD I want to install on it. The problem is when I restart the computer and I enter boot selection I do not see the option to boot from disc so that I can install windows 7 on it but I only see the following options:
"Please Select boot device:
Under UEFI Boot Sources I have the following options:
Windows Boot Manager
UEFI: IPv4 Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
UEFI: IPv6 Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
and then it shows Legacy Boot Sources but nothing to select under that.
I have no idea what I am suppose to do at this point as I have never come across this problem. Any help is really appreciated, thank you in advance.
